Biography

Drs. Ard Jan Vethman is Principal Consultant and Innovation leader for Manufacturing, Retail & Distribution at Capgemini. He is also leading the RFID developments and representing Capgemini in EPCglobal.

Ard Jan has been initiating the development of many innovative services. He has coauthored a book on Electronic Marketplaces (2000) and several reports for the Global Commerce Initiative, including: ‘The case for Global Standards’ (2003), ‘2016: the Future Supply Chain’ (2006) and ‘2018: The Future Value Chain’ (2008).

Ard Jan has a background in Supply Chain and IT design and implementation, working on innovative projects for various clients in the Manufacturing, Retail & Distribution sector.

He has a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Utrecht
